Starting Point

Starting Point is the place to go with ANY questions that you may have!

You can come to Starting Point for answers to all this and more! Look for it in the Lobby when you enter through Door 1. You will see a large sign to your left.

Pizza with the Pastor

Join us the first Sunday of every month for Pizza with the Pastor! This is an opportunity for you to meet our Lead Pastor, Trevor DeVage, and hear his passion, excitement and vision for Christ’s Church. This opportunity is limited each month to the first 50 people that are new to Christ’s Church within the last two years. Childcare will not be provided but there will be child-friendly activities provided. Use the link below to sign up. Lunch will be provided!

Foundations

Get to know our Core Values! Take an in-depth look at what we mean by Know, Grow, Sow and Go. Are you thinking about becoming a members? Are you interested in the church? Or are you a current member who would like a refresher course on what we believe?

Foundations is offered once a month, during Sunday morning hours, from 9:00-10:00 am. Children can attend their regular Sunday morning classes during this time.

Rooted

Connect with God, the church community, and your purpose in unexpected, life-changing ways.

The Rooted experience redefines how we live our lives and view our relationships with God and others, giving context to what it means to be a part of something bigger. You will begin to see God in new ways, allowing you to experience a different way of life: community, authenticity and generosity.

Rooted is an interactive experience. In the course of 10 weeks, you will get together weekly with your group to talk about what God has been revealing to you as you go through the week’s readings, journal entries, and prayer. You will also learn from one another as the Holy Spirit works to comfort, encourage, and guide each member. Your group will share two experiences together outside of your group time: prayer, and serving. After the last session, you’ll join together with other groups and celebrate how God is working to connect each of you with your passion, your purpose, and your community.

Community Groups

You’re not just another face in the crowd. Get to know other people on a deeper level — join a Community Group!

The end of Acts, chapter 2, has a key verse that helps us to understand how the early church operated. In the NLT version, this section of scripture is titled, “The Believers Form a Community.” Acts 2:42 says, “All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.” This is exactly what we want to recreate in our community.

In a church of our size, we believe that smaller communities are essential. The early church’s example is exactly what we want to recreate in our community. The best way for us to do that is to gather people into smaller groups where they can be vulnerable with each other and encourage each other in their faith. We call them “Community Groups.”

True community is what we hope to foster in each of our groups. The tree with roots going downward is intentional; our goal is to launch most of our groups from Rooted–a great starting point for community, and set up to grow even deeper roots together in relationships with each other and also with Christ.

How do I join a Community Group?

We recommend that you join the next Rooted session! This is the best foundation for a new Community Group.
